Dad's birthday

Busy with mens cards as June see's my dads birthday as well as fathers day, so here's dad's birthday card, he and mum travel loads so thought a travel inspired card would be ideal, using 'Heartfelt Stickers'.... and its my entry into Cute Card Thursday - no designer papers!

Another fathers day make here, using Emma's image as its perfect for Fathers day, just coloured differently for my last, not sure which is for my own dad and one of course for dad-in-law...

Pink and girly

A nice girlie pink card here, for my ex-sister in law, the image is one I received in a swap over on the Trimcraft forum, I love it and find the swaps a great way of getting a range of images to see which ones you would use a lot of... Using this one as my entry for the challenge on Papertake Weekly sketch challenge too...

A few cards to upload today - ones I've made over this week and just finishing off, adding greetings etc... so here is the first, a thank you card for Emma for the fabbie pens I won in her blog challenge, I've coloured this image using the new Copics and some of my pro-markers... i cant decide which I like best but love em all!!!

A lovely weekend

Hope you have all enjoyed the sunny weekend - I'm a summer time girl so its perfect for me, we enjoyed family BBQs and generally relaxed in the garden... here's a pic my youngest son Harry took of Rocco... we lost our old dog Bailey a few weeks back which was hard but she had been poorly so we knew it wouldnt be long... looks like Rocco enjoyed the sun too - really he was way to hot and didnt know what to do with himself.

Hannah's birthday

Its my stepdaughter Hannah's 15th birthday next week - I love making girlie cards as you can go totally ott on embellisments and glitter! I cant take the credit for the design as I copied it from Caz over at 'aloadofoldblogocks' blogspot but it was just perfect for Hannah's birthday, and the digi image is a freebie - click here to bag it for yourself http://stamphappens.com/shop/images/maddiefeb.jpg

Someone Special challenge

This weeks challenge over at Cute Card Thursday is to make a card for Someone Special - so here's my entry, its for my friend Melody' who's birthday is on Monday, using digi images from DigiStamp Boutique, and K and Co papers... I loved these muted colours...

My first Word Book

My first attempt at a word book - for Kian's baptism which is tomorrow (fingers crossed for more sunshine...?!), I printed the letters out on the PC and assembled the book using my Bind-it-All - it was fun to do and I'm pleased with how its turned out, and thanks go to a Trimmie member for the idea and tips on making it (saving me buying a special CD or wording templates!)

Freebie stamps from Papercraft Essentials

A little card made to go in with an image swap over at Trimcraft, cant wait to get my new images and must stamp mine out ready to send too...

Tissue box

I did a workshop last Saturday over at A1 cards in Creaton (Northants) and here's my creation, a tissue box cover made from a template - using thick card they are quite sturday and of course decorated however you want... maybe more will be made for gifts later in the year!

Where does the time go, I am so behind on blogging - got a few projects to photograph and post, but with work and family stuff going on I just havent had time but hope to get it done in the next few days... but mega exciting news (for me anyway!) was I won first prize over on Emma's blog, a set of Copic's pens! How exciting is that! I am so thrilled to win and a huge Thank You to Emma for the chance of winning and really good luck with all your fund raising.
